We are having a VERY productive week! The students are having a blast as we begin to write our personal memory stories. We are all anxiously anticipating the upcoming Lent season.

Spelling Words Unit 3 Week 3

Today we went digging for "fossils"! The students realized how hard being a paleontologist truly can be. Below are a few pictures from our activity. 

Lastly, I sent home our March Scholastic Book Order. I also sent out an e-mail with the directions for ordering online. If you plan on turning in a paper order form, I ask that they be turned in no later than March 7. With each student order, they get a free poster and LEGO movie stickers (no minimum purchase required!). Here is the link to order: www.scholastic.com/readingclub

First Communion Meeting

Don’t forget there has been a change for the First Communion Parent Meeting. It will be this Thursday, February 13 at 6:30 PM in Room A.

Children are welcome to attend. Activities will be provided relating to the preparations for First Communion.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I cannot express to you and your students how EXCITED I am to be returning to the classroom in only 2 more school days!! I have missed everyone immensely! I am glad to be getting back into the routine but most importantly back to what God has called me to be...a teacher!

I also wanted to let you know, even though it is NOT Tuesday, your child has received his/her graded papers folder today. Please EMPTY the papers on the "Leave at Home" side and return the stapled papers on the "Bring Right Back" side. If your child returns his/her folder by Friday, s/he will receive a homework pass and a sweet treat!
