If your child ever tells you they can't dance...DON'T BELIEVE THEM! I taught them a simple "dance" to go along with our Bible verse for September. They were AMAZING!!! We even integrated some sign language too!

We also continued our discussion about exploration through nature. We got into the discussion of how God gave certain animals the ability to use their other senses in a stronger way than we do (i.e., a dog and his sense of smell, a bat and the sonar communication, etc.). What a creative God we serve!

Tonight's Homework incorporates Spelling List #7. The students were able to copy the words using "fancy" pens today! They loved it and were all a chatter!

Tonight's Homework
Spelling - Write each spelling word 3 times each and highlight each vowel.
Math - Complete workbook pages 13 - 14

DON'T FORGET WE HAVE MASS TOMORROW!! WE ALSO HAVE ELECTIVES FROM 2 - 3 PM!

Have a wonderful evening!

The questions on the test will be a mixture of matching, multiple choice, true/false and short answer. This is a topic that the students covered in 1st grade, and we have been discussing for quite some time; therefore, I believe they are more than adequately prepared for their exam on Friday, September 20..
